The first open Dutch goldpanning championships were held during the yearly village festival week, called 'Ronje Poeldijk'. The championship lsted only for a day, so there was little time between the heats. Various countries were weel represented: Robert en Marie-Luise for Germany, Miro for Slovakia and Bruno for Belgium.
