The Open Scottish and British goldpanning championships were held in the village of Wanlockhead, which is located in the Scottish Leadhills. The Scottish championships are on Saturday and the British on Sunday. This year a knock-out tournament was organised in which each panner had only one opponent. The winners go to the next round until one single winner is left. The Dutch delegation consisted of: Ruurd, Gonneke, Walter, Sam and Esther.
